Agility and Disc Dog Weekend

Unleashed Unlimited is proud to announce that Cyndy Douan, owner of the Georgia Dog Gym, is coming to Austin and hosting our Agility and Disc Dog Weekend. The weekend event will be a fun and hands on learning seminar teaching the skills associated with agility and disc dog!
Even if you and your dog are totally new to agility and disc dog, or have previously participated in each sport, this seminar will be a fantastic opportunity to teach your dogs some new skills and have a lot of fun! Cyndy starts and explains the basics of each sport so that everyone can quickly and easily learn and advance their skills.
The event is open to dogs of all obedience levels, if you are on the fence about this event, now is the time to sign up, early registration ends Saturday, October 10th!

Cyndy Douan has been a professional dog trainer for the past 20 years, and has over 65 titles and awards from competing in obedience, agility, flyball and disc dog events with her dogs. Not only is Cyndy one of the co-founders of the International Association of Canine Professions, but has held several different positions within the organization, including President, and Cyndy also lends her time to be a judge for the United States Disc Dog Nationals. We cannot have picked a better instructor for this seminar, and we are very lucky to have her!
During the action packed weekend, you and your dog will be learning and practicing:
Agility – Not only will Cyndy will be covering the foundation of the agility obstacles (the tire, A-frame, dog walk, teeter, jumps, broad jumps, chute, tunnel, weave poles, and table), but also discuss and teach handling tips and skills, as well as motivating your dog.
Disc Dog – This will be a great chance for an expert to help your dog start to catch the disc! Cyndy will start at the beginning by teaching the correct throwing methods and then move on to getting your dog to target the disc, catch and retrieve, building drive, and will also be working on some freestyle skills, which is always the most exciting part!
Games – “Game Day” will be made up of fun and unique drills, sequences, and activities that will definitely keep you and your dog motivated! Not that agility and disc dog aren’t fun enough on their own already, but Cyndy has managed a way to make it even more enjoyable.
Below is a basic schedule of the weekend’s activities (FYI – this is an away weekend for the Longhorns!)
