when I throw the toy to my dog, she runs for it, picks it up, and walks off with it. She always bites the other dogs and takes the toy away if any other dog plays with it. She likes to hide as many toys as she can somewhere so other dogs can't find them and play with them. She does'nt see it as something to play with, she sees it as a piece of her property. Sometimes she even sits around chewing on a toy and growls if you try to take it away. She's a poodle and is such a weird dog.

So far this technique is working. My puppy is still quite young and has a short attention span but she enjoys the love she gets when she brings her toy back. Hopefully I will be able to toss the toy more than 5 feet away soon!
