Treadmill Training for Dogs

Nothing replaces an old fashioned walk or jog with you, but teaching your dog to run, walk, or jog on a treadmill is a great way to exercise your dog.  It also helps with weight loss management, it’s a great confidence booster, and improves coordination.  However, if you are not confident in what you’re doing, mistakes on our part that can often make a simple task like treadmill training become a very stressful and daunting task for your dog.

In order to reduce the risk of injury and stress to your dog, we offer treadmill training lessons.  Treadmill sessions, which can be purchased individually or in bulk packages, can be purchased by contacting Tracey or Paul. We are currently offering treadmill lessons at our training center as well as in your home (you must own a treadmill).  Please let us know if you have any questions or would like more details!

All dogs are different, but most dogs can be successfully trained to the treadmill in as few as 1 to 3 lessons.
