Teaching your dog new tricks is not only a load of fun but enhances your dogs ability to learn. Tricks are by far one of our favorite things to teach and is even more fun for the dogs!!  Trick Training 101 is an introductory course and will be the stepping stone for more involved trick training classes that will be offered at a later date.

Trick Training 101 covers some of basic and fun tricks; you and your dog will learn the following:

Shake/Paw – having your dog give you his paw on cue

Play Dead – teaching your dog to lay on his side

Spin – having your dog spin in a particular direction.  Turn – having your dog spin in the opposite direction of Spin

Center – to sit, down or stand in between your leg while you are standing

Go Through – to move from a position in front of you and travel through your legs

Paws Up – to place both front paws on a object

Kangaroo – to remain in a seated position with back two legs with front paws off of the ground

The Trick Training 101 class will run for 5 weeks, all of the dates for this class are listed below:

Saturday February 13th at 11:30 am at the Leander Training Center

Sunday February 21st at 11:30 am at the Leander Training Center

Saturday February 27th at 11:30 am at the Leander Training Center

Saturday March 6th at 11:30 am at the Leander Training Center

Saturday March 13th at 11:30 am at the Leander Training Center

Other details:

The fee for the 5 week course is $125.00.

This class is open to the public, and your dog should have a simple understanding of sit, down, place, and come (no aggression cases).

Please bring treats, toys, and whatever else motivates your dog!

Class size is limited and spots will be filled on a first come first serve basis.  Because class size is limited, there will be no refunds for participant cancellations.
