As a dog owner, you have many options when it comes to selecting a training program for your dog. There are so many different styles, approaches, levels of expectations, program options, and program durations that it can get very confusing. It’s hard to make sense of and can often lead to frustration and uncertainty.
In order to help make sense of all of the different options and information that’s out there, we make it as easy as possible for our potential clients by inviting them in to our training center for a face-to-face consultation and evaluation with their dog.
The first reason that we do this is because we want to meet your dog. Getting a chance to sit down and evaluate your dog is a huge advantage to both of us as trainers and you as a dog owner. We need to get a better understanding of their personalities and behavior traits so that way we can outline an appropriate program for you and your dog.
It’s also important that we get a chance to sit down with you and discuss in more detail the things that you were needing to work on, your previous training efforts, your family life, the lifestyle that you want to lead with your dog, and discuss anything else that you feel is relevant to the training process.
At that point we go over what we do, why we do it that way, how it can help you and your dog, and also how we differ from other trainers that you may be considering. We will also show you one of our dogs so you can see the level of training that you can expect from working with us.
We then go over our programs, schedules, curriculum, pricing, and answer all of your questions. At that point the decision is up to you; no pressure.
We feel that gathering information is one of the most important parts of dog training and we also do not believe that you should pay for this. Our consultations and evaluations are free of charge and are available to anyone who is looking to learn more about what we do and how we can help them.
If you live in the Austin area and would like to set up a consultation and evaluation with us, please visit our consultation and evaluation page.
Come on in and see us, we’ve got a chair with your name on it.
