Initial Consultation & Evaluation
This free appointment is for dogs 16 weeks and older. We'll sit down, evaluate your dog, and ask questions to understand their personality, training history, sociability, and any problem areas.
We’ll also discuss your goals and ideal lifestyle with your dog, then explain our training approach and different training package options.
Finally, we'll answer your questions, recommend a suitable program, and wrap up—no pressure!
Combo Package
This package is for dogs 16 weeks and older.
It begins with 5 private lessons at our training center to build a strong foundation. You'll work with a trainer to learn timing, body language, behavior, and management while teaching your dog essential skills:
- Come on command (with and without distraction)
- Sit for an extended period of time (next to you and at a distance)
- Down for an extended period of time (next to you and at a distance)
- Loose leash walking
- Heel
- Place
- Off
- Break (or other release word)
- Basic manners (no jumping, quiet on command, counter surfing, staying off furniture, window barking, etc.
- Working through fear issues
After completing the private lessons, you’ll move into unlimited group classes to strengthen obedience, boost reliability, and practice around distractions.
Group formats include:
- Group proofing at our Leander dog training center and local Austin, Cedar Park, Georgetown, Leander, Round Rock, and Pflugerville parks and other dog-friendly areas
- Off-leash hikes and trail walks
- Lunch and Dinner outings with the dogs
- On-leash walks in various areas
You can attend as many group classes as you like for 6 months!
Play & Train Package
This package is intended for dogs that are 16 weeks and older.
Our Play and Train package combine the best of all worlds with our knowledgeable training staff introducing your dog to all of the skills, private one-on-one instruction for you, and the benefits of socialization with the right dogs. Here is how it works:
You drop your dog off to us for a full day of doggie day care, which is available Monday thru Friday. Your dog’s day will be filled with supervised play-time, multiple training sessions throughout the day, and plenty of rest and free time in between. In between day care sessions, we schedule private lessons for you to catch you up with the training concepts, timing, and problem solving.
This package includes 10 doggie day care visits with multiple lessons each day. You also get 5 one hour one-on-one lessons with detailed instruction on what was worked on, how to practice with your dog at home, and how to implement these skills into your home life. The private lessons will be used in between the day care visits so you can progress with your dog. This package will focus on the following skills:

Once you and your dog complete the private lessons and day care visits, it’s time to get you both into our unlimited group classes.
These classes are done in a few different formats, including:
- Group proofing at our Leander dog training center and local Austin, Cedar Park, Georgetown, Leander, Round Rock, and Pflugerville parks and other dog-friendly areas
- Off-leash hikes and trail walks
- Lunch and Dinner outings with the dogs
- On-leash walks in various areas
You and your dog are free to attend as many of these classes as you wish, as often as you wish for 6 months!
Board & Train Package
This program is for dogs 16 weeks and older.
Our Board & Train program includes a 3- or 5-week stay at our training center, where your dog receives intensive foundation training through daily private sessions, group classes, daycare (if appropriate), socialization, walks, and field trips.
Your dog will learn:
- Come on command (with and without distraction)
- Sit for an extended period of time (next to you and at a distance)
- Down for an extended period of time (next to you and at a distance)
- Loose leash walking
- Heel
- Place
- Off
- Break (or other release word)
- Wait at the door and in car to prevent bolting
- Basic manners (no jumping, quiet on command, counter surfing, staying off furniture, window barking, etc.
- Working through fear issues
- Other problem areas that are unique to your situation
After the stay, you’ll receive 3 or 5 private follow-up lessons (based on package) plus a full year of unlimited group classes to support your dog’s transition and your continued learning.
These classes are done in a few different formats, including:
- Group proofing at our Leander dog training center and local Austin, Cedar Park, Georgetown, Leander, Round Rock, and Pflugerville parks and other dog-friendly areas
- Off-leash hikes and trail walks
- Lunch and Dinner outings with the dogs
- On-leash walks in various areas

Puppy Training
Although we firmly believe in obedience training your puppy as soon as possible, there are so many additional, time-sensitive skills that your puppy needs right now – all of which focus on preventing behavior issues.
You can teach your dog to come and sit at any age, the focus of our puppy training is to ensure that your puppy grows up to be the dog that you want them to become; and now is the time to get started. Puppies between the ages of 6 and 16 weeks old are at a very important time in their lives, and is a wonderful opportunity to start the learning process.
Exposing your new puppy to the correct experiences, socialization protocols, and leadership drills can help prevent problems later down the road; you only get one shot for certain things. Our puppy programs focus on the following topics:
