Are you serious!! It’s Thanksgiving already? I can’t believe how this year has flown by. It would have caught us by surprise if it weren’t for the Christmas decorations that have been out since Halloween.
We at Unleashed Unlimited have had a whirlwind of a year and it gets me thinking of how it all started. It was just the 2 of us (Paul and myself) 10 years ago and I can believe what this has turned into. We came here to Texas from New Jersey with little more than an idea. We did not have jobs as back up and we never considered failure when it came to training dogs; I think we were a little naive to be honest. I barely remember the sleepless nights filled with worry and uncertainty about how the bills would get paid but I for sure know they happened.
We knew that we needed help in order for things to progress and grow larger. Eventually we got out of our own way and we hired our first employee in 2010. We were so apprehensive to add staff because we wanted everything done just so. It’s hard to let go in some areas, ya know. We sucked it up.
Well, fast forward to the present.
We now have the most well rounded staff and we are incredibly fortunate to have them. One of the cool advantages for our clients is that they all come from different backgrounds. They have all been either in the dog training industry, pet or working dogs, in the veterinary field or started out like Paul and I, as clients of a dog training program. Everyone works as a team to ensure that things go smoothly and they all have their individual strengths and really balance each other out. Our staff is passionate about dog and people training and we have the utmost trust in all of them to get the job done and to do it well. We would not be in the same position without them, we are incredibly thankful for all of them. We are looking forward to see what is in store for all of us next year.
To our wonderful clients, it’s you that makes things happen. Thank you for the trust you have put in to Unleashed Unlimited by allowing us to work with you and your dogs. Thank you for the many referrals to friends and family and for setting an example of what you can achieve thru dog training. Last but not least, all of your dogs; they are no doubt the platform for continued learning and growth. The dogs reliably let us know what the next step should be and how to get there. No two dogs are alike and they all bring something new to accomplish and overcome. That is what it is all about for us. We are incredibly grateful.
We hope that everyone has a healthy and Happy Thanksgiving, and with any luck, Chaucer won’t steal any turkey!
