While enjoying a day off earlier this week, we were playing around with some of our dogs in the backyard and decided to get out the video camera. This is what we ended up with.
The short video just shows off a level of control that Unleashed Unlimited Dog Training can provide. Now I’m sure you may be asking yourself when would you ever need your dogs to sit on a box and have them watch you throw a ridiculous amount of tennis balls into a pool; the answer is you wont. But all we are doing is showing off a level of control that easily transitions into real world situations that you will find yourself in.
Lets say you are taking your morning vitamins or medicine and you accidentally drop the bottle and the pills spill out and are bouncing all around on the floor. This is a situation where you need a solid sit or place command for your dog. The consequences of your dog not listening to you in this situation could be very horrifying and costly.
We do drills like these every day with our clients, because things happen that we cant anticipate. We want to make sure our clients and their dogs are prepared to react quickly and correctly by having control of their dogs. But lets be honest, in a addition to all of that, we also do these drills because they are FUN too!
