Training Options for Your Puppy (Ages 6-16 weeks)
Although we firmly believe in obedience training your puppy as soon as possible, there are so many additional, time-sensitive skills that your puppy needs right now – all of which focus on preventing behavior issues. You can teach your dog to come and sit at any age, the focus of our puppy training is to ensure that your puppy grows up to be the dog that you want them to become; and now is the time to get started. Puppies between the ages of 6 and 16 weeks old are at a very important time in their lives, and is a wonderful opportunity to start the learning process. Exposing your new puppy to the correct experiences, socialization protocols, and leadership drills can help prevent problems later down the road; you only get one shot for certain things. This class is great for first time dog owners, as well as anyone who wants piece of mind that they are doing the right things with their new puppy. Our puppy training focuses on the following topics:

The Puppy Manual
If you’re more of the do-it-yourself type person, we have a puppy training solution for you! Downloading the Puppy Manual, which was written by Unleashed Unlimited, will give you instant access to all of the same material covered in our other programs. Private Puppy Jump Start
If you live in the area and prefer to sit down face-to-face with a trainer in a private manner, our Private Puppy Jump Start Program is an extremely smart place to start! This training option is a private 2 hour puppy class that is done with you and/or your family at our training center in Leander. We will use your puppy in a hands-on style class where we will explain, discuss, and help you implement all of the topics above. This option also includes a free copy of our Puppy Manual to aid in future implementation of everything we discussed during the class.
Group Puppy Jump Start
If you prefer a group puppy class, we’ve got that too! Our Group Puppy Jump Start class meets once a week for 4 consecutive weeks at our training center in Leander at specified dates and times. Being in a group allows for extended socialization with the other puppies and humans. This class also includes a free copy of our Puppy Manual for easy reference.
Training Options for Your Dog (Ages 16 weeks +)
Initial Evaluation and Consultation
Our consultations and evaluations are designed to give you as much information as possible that is relevant to you and your dog. During the visit we meet with you and your dog, discuss your current state of training, review your specific training goals, and get to know a little about your dog’s personality. We will discuss our training options in more detail, show you our dogs so you have a full understanding of what to expect when working with us, and of course, answer any questions you may have. This appointment is necessary before enrolling in any of our off leash obedience programs (does not apply to puppy programs.) Private Lessons with Unlimited Polishing Classes
This package is designed for dog owners who are looking for off-leash control of their dog, even in the heaviest distractions. This program is composed of 5 private lessons with a trainer where all of the skills are introduced to you and your dog and a solid foundation of skills and communication are developed. Working along side of a trainer will allow you to get a firm understanding of timing, body language, dog behavior, and management techniques to lead a good life with your dog. The following skills will be taught with OFF-LEASH RELIABILITY!
- Come on command (with and without distraction)
- Sit for an extended period of time (next to you and at a distance)
- Down for an extended period of time (next to you and at a distance)
- Loose leash walking
- Heel
- Place
- Off
- Break (or other release word)
- Wait at the door and in car to prevent bolting
- Basic manners (no jumping, quiet on command, counter surfing, staying off furniture, window barking, etc.)
- Working through fear issues
Upon completion of the private lessons, owners then move on to our polishing class where you will work with your dog along side of our trainers, in a group format. The polishing classes create the perfect environment to proof our dogs and refine their skills so you can have increased control and enjoy them more. Some of the features of our polishing classes include:
- Group proofing at our Leander training center and local Austin parks
- Off-leash hikes and trail walks
- Lunch and Dinner outings with the dogs
- On-leash walks in various areas
Because training our dogs is an ongoing process, you and your dog are free to attend as many polishing classes as you wish for 1 full year! In order to service our clients to the best of our ability, our polishing class locations and times vary. In-Home Board and Train Program
This package is perfect for those of us who lead very busy lifestyles, want to give their dogs a head start with a training program, and those of us who have dogs that just benefit greatly from this type of program. During the board and train program, your dog will live and train in our home with us for 3 weeks, and will be constantly supervised and trained from start to finish. Our in-home board and train package directly addresses the following skills.
