Training Options for Your Puppy (Ages 6-16 weeks)
Although we firmly believe in obedience training your puppy as soon as possible, there are so many additional, time-sensitive skills that your puppy needs right now – all of which focus on preventing behavior issues. You can teach your dog to come and sit at any age, the focus of our puppy training is to ensure that your puppy grows up to be the dog that you want them to become; and now is the time to get started. Puppies between the ages of 6 and 16 weeks old are at a very important time in their lives, and is a wonderful opportunity to start the learning process. Exposing your new puppy to the correct experiences, socialization protocols, and leadership drills can help prevent problems later down the road; you only get one shot for certain things. This class is great for first time dog owners, as well as anyone who wants piece of mind that they are doing the right things with their new puppy. Our puppy training focuses on the following topics:

The Puppy Manual
If you’re more of the do-it-yourself type person, we have a puppy training solution for you! In-Home Puppy Consultation
If you live in the Austin area and prefer to sit down face-to-face with a trainer, our In-Home Puppy Consultation is an extremely smart place to start! Our 2 hour puppy consultations are done in your home with your family and your puppy. Using your puppy in a hands on style class we will explain, discuss, and help you implement all of the topics above.
In-Home Puppy Board and Train
If you have a trip planned or a hectic schedule and would like to get a huge jump start on the foundation work, a puppy board and train is the way to go! During this program your puppy will come and live in your trainer’s home for 10 days where the above skills will be implemented and make a ton of headway during their stay. Upon completion of the 10 day stay with us, your puppy will be returned and a trainer will spend 2 hours with you and your family to make sure that you are fully educated on everything that was covered with your puppy. This program also includes a copy of our Puppy Manual for easy reference.
Training Options for Your Dog (Ages 16 weeks +)
FREE Evaluation and Consultation
Our free consultations and evaluations are designed to give you as much information as possible that is relevant to you and your dog. During the visit we meet with you and your dog, discuss your current state of training, review your specific training goals, and get to know a little about your dog’s personality. We will discuss our training options in more detail, show you our dogs so you have a full understanding of what to expect when working with us, and of course, answer any questions you may have. This appointment is completely free of charge and is necessary before enrolling in any of our off leash obedience programs (does not apply to Puppy Consultations.) So if you are looking to enroll your dog into some dog obedience training classes in Leander, Austin, Cedar Park, Round Rock, or other Central Texas areas, this is a great place to start.
Unlimited Group Package
This package is designed for dog owners who are looking for off-leash control of their dog, even in the heaviest distractions. This program is composed of at least 2 private lessons. After that, owners work with their dogs, along side of our trainers, in a group environment. The following skills will be taught with OFF-LEASH RELIABILITY…
- Come on command (with and without distraction)
- Sit for an extended period of time (next to you and at a distance)
- Down for an extended period of time (next to you and at a distance)
- Loose leash walking
- On and off leash heel
- Place
- Off
- Break
- Wait at the door and in car to prevent bolting
- Basic manners (no jumping, quiet on command, counter surfing, staying off furniture, window barking, etc.)
- Socialization
- Working through fear issues
- Trail walking/hiking
- Dining with your dog at an outdoor dog-friendly restaurant
Because all dogs and owners progress at different rates, we do not put a limit on the number of sessions with this package. We will work with you and your dog at YOUR pace. This package includes UNLIMITED group classes, meaning you and your dog are free to attend as many group lessons as you wish. Once all of the requirements are met and you and your dog graduate, the training does not end. You are still free to attend our group classes for THE LIFE OF THE DOG!
Because we want your dog to listen in real-world distractions, we train our customers’ dogs in distraction. This challenges the dog and returns a high level of training. In order to service our clients to the best of our ability, our group training locations and times vary. Please check the schedule page on our site for further details of class times and locations which are subject to change.
In-Home Board and Train Program
This package is perfect for those of us who lead very busy lifestyles, or just want to give their dogs a head start with a training program. During the board and train program, your dog will live and train in our home with us, and will be constantly supervised and trained from start to finish. Our in-home board and train package directly addresses the following skills.

Home Manners Package
This package designed for dog owners who are looking for basic control and manners in the home environment. This package is made up of 5 one hour private sessions, done in and around your home. This package will be tailored toward solving the existing problems you are experiencing and working towards YOUR specific goals. Each package differs slightly according the your needs, but the following skills are things most commonly addressed:
- Sit
- Come on command (in and around the home)
- Loose leash walking
- Wait at the door
- Break
- Eliminating play biting
- Eliminating jumping on people
- Leadership basics and establishing boundaries
Upon completion of this package, customers may upgrade to another package.
Additional private lessons can be purchased with any package at any time.
